Hot Topic Of The Week

The hot topic in the staff room is my classs end of year trip to the animal park, we are the first class to being going on a trip that is very far. Every year the whole school go to the seaside as the final trip till the summer holidays but this year my students requested to go somewhere different.
They told me at the beginning of the academic year, so I had a whole year to persuade the head teacher but I really didnt want to do it as I just joined the school. After carefully thinking about it for a few months, I decided I will send an email request and hope for the best.
Now every morning as soon as I arrive at work, the first thing I do is check my work email in the hope of receiving a message from the head teacher but I havent got anything yet. My students also ask me every morning if I heard from the dragon as they call her.
I finally got the long awaited message from the head teacher, it was a yes which was a surprise as I was expecting a harsh no.
